    3. Entering the conversation already going on in everyone’s minds.

    4. Speaking LOUDLY and DIRECTLY

    5. Using people’s names/personalizing the message.

    6. Endearing himself and building on commonalities (friend)

    7. Speaking to them in their language.

    8. Storytelling.

    9. Using vivid imagery.

    10. Connecting seemingly unconnected things in an unusual way to make the point.

    11. Providing proof (looking in the window, rebuckling knickerbockers, etc)

    12. Flattering

    13. Creating scarcity.
