I’ve done it.

Ok ok, not all at once. But in 2005 I fasted for a total of 45 days  (and lost 22 kilos, which also put me back down to my fighting weight).

It was an amazing experience. Or collection of experiences. I have never felt so close to the divine, death, and heaven all at once.

My senses have never been so sharp.

My confidence was never so strong.

So, this year, I am trying it again. Except, I want to get to 50.
