There is no such thing as "Artificial Intelligence"
What we are all creating right now, if we are working with AI in any capacity, is copies of ourselves.
The Giants: OAI, Google, Anthropic, Grok...must be slowly figuring out by now that they aren't really creating AI. Because Artificial Intelligence can't and won't exist. It's an oxymoron, assuming you define intelligence as "the ability of an organism with needs to define methods for meeting those needs."
You only need intelligence because you have a (limited, mortal) body. If you didn't, you have no motivation. With no motivation, what is there to be intelligent *about*?
What we have is *simulated* intelligence. And that is all we will ever have. Something *pretending*. Like a doll.
But the question is: what is it pretending to be a doll *of*.
And, you will find that all of these AIs are just copies of their creators.
ChatGPT (what a fun name!) is like Sam Altman. I won't draw the parallels.
Grok is like who Elon Musk (wants to/pretends to be)
Claude is like Dario
And Google is a shitshow. Just like the company!
And all of us who are making software or creating digital copies of ourselves are, in one way or another, just magnifying ourselves.
There are a million value decisions that are made in every step of creating a LLM or creating anything that *comes* from an LLM.
And that is the art: What do *you* value? What is important to *you*?
And that is how it acts.
This is where the path ends... for now.
